We work alongside your architect and designer through pre-construction, the build, and the final walkthrough. Scott Menard is personally involved on every project.

We work alongside your architect and designer from schematic design through final selections. The questions a builder asks at the drawing stage are the questions that prevent surprises during framing. Early collaboration is the single highest-leverage decision in a custom build.

###    Pre-Construction & Selections               

Before construction begins, we develop the formal scope, write specifications, guide selections, and value engineer where it helps the budget without changing the design intent. Pre-construction is a paid service. The result is an accurate, comparable bid you can build from, and a set of documents that belong to you.

###    Ground-Up Construction               

Site work, framing, mechanicals, finish carpentry, and the final walkthrough. The same lead is on the project from foundation to keys. We coordinate the trades, hold the schedule, and answer for the work.

###    Coastal & Historic Considerations               

Building on Nantucket means weather-zone detailing, MA stretch energy code compliance, and where applicable, Historic District Commission approvals. We coordinate the work that determines whether a build holds up across decades, not just years.

###    Owner Communication & Reporting               

Custom homes take twelve to eighteen months to build. You should know where the project stands at any moment. We send regular updates, walk the site with you on a clear cadence, and bring the honest version of every decision in front of us.
